Urbex is the acronym for "Urban exploration".
An activity that consists in visiting places built and abandoned by human activity. There are many abandoned places throughout France and the world. These places are of all types: castles, hospitals, factories, wrecks...
Why is that? Because it is fascinating, often beautiful and artistic (in the eye of the photographer) and always interesting to dive into the past in its raw state. But there are principles to the Urbexeur "Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, kill nothing but time."
