As part of the "Patrimoine écrit" event organised by the Agence Livre & Lecture Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, the Médiathèque Jean-Christophe Rufin presents its exhibition on the theme of the "human body".
Since Antiquity, the body has been a theme represented in many disciplines such as art, medicine, education... These expressions have been transmitted to us through sculpture and painting, but also through books, which bear an interesting testimony of the vision of the body through the ages. Come and discover the representations of the human body in the heritage collections!
We are always curious to understand how the human body works, how it is represented in different fields such as medicine or art...
This exhibition proposes different heritage works on this theme, which have been transmitted to us through sculpture and painting but also books which are an interesting testimony of the vision of the body through the ages.
Come and discover representations of the human body from our heritage collections.
To be discovered from 1 September to 6 September.
