At the invitation of the Parc Saint-Léger Centre d'Art Contemporain, the artist Grace Gloria Denis, who is passionate about ecology and agrobiology, has turned her attention to the garden of the former abbey of Notre-Dame de Nevers.
Appropriating the gardeners' usual signage, her non-intrusive, ephemeral intervention takes us on a journey through the twists and turns of botanical history. In so doing, she reminds us that nature is also a matter of history(ies)...
An inaugural lecture will take place on Saturday 7 September at 4pm, featuring a dialogue between the artist and art critic François Salmeron.
Open during Musée de la Faïence et des Beaux-Arts opening hours: Mondays and Wednesdays to Sundays from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm and from 1 October to 11 November: 1pm to 6pm. Closed on Tuesdays.
