Gospel, soul, blues and groove are the tools Emane has chosen to build her universe, bring her audience together and unite the talented artists who follow her on tour. Both on stage and in the studio, her music is powerful, vibrant and harmonious, a veritable soundtrack to the life of a flamboyant woman-artist who stands up against adversity.
The dry beats and heavy basses trace hip-hop, soul, RnB and even Dancehall grooves, while the keyboards propel the pop melodies to the service of the message conveyed by the voice. Emane radiates, always keeping her musical roots in Guadeloupe in sight, with a father who sang Gwoka and an infinite passion for gospel singing.
With this new album, entitled "On my way", Emane is decked out in electric blue to honour a rendezvous with her inner child. Throughout the tracklist, she relives the experiences that have defined her past, present and future struggles, as a woman, as a mother, as an artist with her own musical project.
