CONTEMPORARY ART - Solo exhibition by visual artist Julien Clar with Alexia Kieffer, the artist's agent.
Julien Clar lives and works in Montceau-les-Mines (Saône-et-Loire, Burgundy).
Housed in a former chapel built by builders from his home town, now converted into a studio, the artist's work revolves around a theme that both haunts and drives him: the perception of time and space.
This exhibition follows on from the first, held in the gallery of the Musée Pompon in Saulieu (Côte d'Or, Burgundy) in April 2024 and curated by Carl Chedal-Anglay.
"For this new edition, visual artist Julien Clar will continue to explore a theme that characterises all his work: the observation of our relationship with space, set against the value we place on our time. These human preoccupations that sometimes define our limits, sometimes propel us towards discovery".
The pair will be delighted to welcome you to their vernissage on Monday 9 September from 6pm.
A cocktail will be served to mark the occasion. They can't wait to share their exhibitions and future projects with you, not only for the long term but also, and above all, for the 2024-2025 season!
