D’aujourd’hui à demain – Ouverture: Human-Hume, d’Atsushi Sakaï

In partnership with the Ateliers Musicaux Syrinx of Poitiers, the festival commissions Atsushi Sakaï, a great cellist and violinist of our time, to write a composition inspired by Tobias Hume: his musical path, his career as a soldier, his eccentricity, his madness, will be the source of inspiration. The musicians of Syrinx, an improbable rock band, respond to the singer and improviser Lynn Cassiers and a very special sounding string group, where viola da gamba, violin, viola, cello, played by a virtuoso team, eager for adventure.
