D’aujourd’hui à demain – Jorge Pepi-Alos, récital de piano

The 2022 Festival d'Aujourd'hui à Demain closes with a recital by the wonderful Argentine pianist and composer Jorge Pepi-Alós. Invited for the third time by the festival, he returns with a treasure: the fascinating and immense Concord Sonata by Charles Ives. Alongside this masterpiece, he offers two recent works, given as French premieres: Camanchaca by the Chilean composer Juan Manuel Quinteros, and three pieces by Jorge Pepi-Alós himself. The exceptional quality of Jorge Pepi-Alós' playing and his incomparable commitment to the music have already struck many festival audiences. There is no doubt that this concert in the magnificent setting of the Abbey's Farinier will be remembered.
