D’aujourd’hui à demain – Ensemble Supernova: Portrait d’Alexandros Markeas

In the heart of the magnificent Farinier de l'Abbaye, the festival takes the public to discover the SuperNova musical creation ensemble and its abundant universe. SuperNova, which emerged in 2020 from the association of artists born or based in Burgundy-Franche-Comté, functions on the principles of sharing, mutual trust, and a horizontal operation within which each member lends his or her voice, sensitivity and movement to the group. The founding core, surrounded by a constellation of friendly partners, takes the side of multidisciplinary projects in search of sound and musical innovations, and of bridges between music and movement, the body, and innovative technologies. The ensemble lives contemporary creation as a space of freedom: to the choice for today's music, is added a shared passion for improvisation. Having just premiered Time to Time at the Conservatoire du Grand Chalon with the composer Alexandros Markeas, the ensemble offers a mixed portrait of his chamber music pieces of the last twenty years and improvisations, in the presence of the composer.
