Christmas CORRIDA - Remembering KEN
This event is part of the end of year festivities
with its traditional descent of Father Christmas!
Organiser: La Cité Marchande in partnership with the Montceau Triathlon and Vélo-Sport Joncynois clubs.
Principle: The Corrida is a running event (from 15 years old, cadets) disputed in the streets of the town of Saint Gengoux-le-National.
It is preceded by 3 foot races, 2 of which are for children.
The host site is located at Place de l'Église in the centre of the medieval town.

2.00 pm - The Chick race, 0.9 km race for Poussins (9 - 10 years old) or FF Triathlon Pupils (2012; 10 years old)
2.20 pm - The Benjamins, 1.95 km race for Benjamins (11 - 12 years old) or Pupils FF Triathlon (2011; 11 years old) and Minimes (13 - 14 years old)
15h00 - La ch'tite Corrida, 3.90 km race (from 15 years old: Cadette - Cadet)
15h45 - La Corrida, 9.75 km race (from 15 years old)
16:20 - First finish (estimated)
17h00 - Last finish (estimation)
Registration: only by internet in advance.
Registration is limited, such as 100 places in total for the two youth events, 150 places for the Ch'tite Corrida and 250 places for the Corrida.
Competitors: The events are open, for adults, on presentation of a sports licence or a medical certificate; for minors, on presentation of a questionnaire relating to the state of health of the minor athlete or, if not, a medical certificate (in the case of at least one "yes" answer to this questionnaire).

1/ The course of the Chicks' race measures 0,9km in the streets of
Saint-Gengoux-le-National; it is to be run once and it takes lanes and paved roads.
The roads and public ways will be closed to traffic by barriers and secured with flagmen for the crossroads that cannot be physically closed by barriers.
2/ The main circuit (Corrida, Ch'tite Corrida, Benjamins and Minimes) measures approximately 1,95km in the streets of Saint-Gengoux-le-National; it is to be run once, twice or five times depending on the race, or it takes lanes and cobbled roads.
The roads and public thoroughfares will be closed to traffic by barriers and secured with flagmen for the crossroads that cannot be physically closed by barriers.
