Confluence in celebration

Confluence en fête returns for a new edition in Verdun-sur-le-Doubs on Sunday 25 June, from 10 am to 6 pm with a programme offering numerous activities and events. Market, water activities, educational workshops, exhibitions... there will be something for everyone.
Visitors will be invited to discover the Saône and the Doubs on board a boat. For those wishing to navigate on the water with a little more effort, kayak rides will be offered. Initiations to diving, miniature boat piloting, mechanical surfing... on land or on the water, everyone will find an activity to their taste.
In parallel, a jousting tournament will be organised on the Doubs. Fishing activities will be organised with the Saône et Doubs fishing association.
Near the port, visitors will discover a market, where craftsmen and actors fighting for the preservation of our biodiversity will share the space. A restaurant/bar will complete the programme, as well as a ceremony bringing together the municipality and Verdun-sur-le-Doubs and the town of Wolfstein in Germany to celebrate 40 years of twinning.
