Gourmandise may be as old as the hills, but gastronomy as we know it is an art of living that can hardly be traced back beyond the Age of Enlightenment. It has had its inventors, its theorists, its ambassadors and, among these great figures, Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826).
On Saturday 14 September, the Cité internationale de la gastronomie et du vin is delighted to invite you to a lecture on this famous gourmet, hosted by Jean-Robert Pitte and followed by a tasting of... Brillat-Savarin! Jean-Robert Pitte will then sign his book Brillat-Savarin: Le gastronome transcendant.
- Credit card, Payment cards, Cheques and postal orders, Holiday vouchers, Cash, Visa
The tasting will take place at 11.15am and will be followed by a signing session at the Cave.
The signing session will then continue from 2.30pm to 4pm at the Librairie Gourmande.
- Base rate : 9€
