Charolais Breeding Competition

Charolais cattle in the spotlight!
The Autun Agricultural Society is organising its annual competition for Charolais breeding stock registered with the HBC (Herd Book Charolais). The competition will be held at the Economic Fair.

The leading beef breed in France and Europe, with 1.3 million mother cows, the Charolais cattle breed owes its worldwide renown to the success of both breeders and consumers. This breed has exceptional beef qualities and meets the ecological challenges of today and tomorrow. Added to this is the docility of the animals, which are relatively easy to rear.

Come one, come all to admire nearly 120 animals. The classifications will take place on Saturday, with the prize-giving ceremony for the breeders on Sunday.
