[Natura 2000 photo competition in the Morvan] "Water in all its states
From Monday 14 March to Sunday 28 August 2022, the Morvan Park is organising a photo competition open to amateurs on the theme of "Water in all its states". Get your cameras ready!
Natura 2000 is an important tool for the preservation of biodiversity, natural and semi-natural habitats and the development of territories, while taking into account economic and social concerns. In the Morvan, nearly 20% of the territory is classified as a Natura 2000 site.
In this context, a photo competition is organised to promote the sites of the Morvan, by encouraging the public to discover these sites and the biodiversity they contain. After two previous editions, in 2018 and 2019, the Morvan Park is organising a new photo competition, free of charge and exclusively intended for amateur photographers, whether or not they live in the Morvan. This year, the competition will take place from Monday 14 March to Sunday 28 August 2022 and will have as its theme "Water in all its states", water being an important issue in Natura 2000 sites and more widely in the world, particularly in a context of climate change.
The photos must have been taken in the municipalities concerned by a Natura 2000 site. Four categories will be awarded: young people's prize, jury prize, elected representatives' favourite and internet users' favourite. There will be many prizes to be won in each category, which will be announced shortly. The prize-giving ceremony will take place at the next Autumn Festival and associations in Saint-Brisson, on 1 and 2 October 2022.
Give free rein to your creativity and do not hesitate to participate by sending us your most beautiful photos!
