"The project is structured around texts and original compositions embracing genres as diverse as reggae, rap, samba, jazz and funk. As a trio, Karto di Cromo offers a hybrid show between funny, caustic texts and urban sounds. His "electropical" songs are structured around the practice of beatboxing where the machines come to answer a vision of the music resolutely instrumental." 🎵

The musical project led by Kartõ di Crømo was first born in the street in 2016 with a strong anchorage in the practice of beatbox and livelooping to then develop on stage with various musicians (saxophone, hurdy-gurdy), gradually adopting a rather rock-rap-electro language.

The association with bassist Matthieu Sineau and saxophonist Antonio Tritta dates back to 2020 and gives his compositions a colour ranging from Brazilian music to jazz via ballads and reggae. 🪘
The practice of loops is not abandoned with this new formation and the trio intends to propose a hybrid music between song, jazz, electro and tropical music. 🌴
