Cinema at the theatre: Serenade à trois
A playwright and a painter meet a cartoonist on a train. It is not long before they fall in love with her. The young woman cannot bring herself to choose between her two suitors. "A thing happened to me that usually happens to men". They decide to move in together. With Serenade à trois, Ernst Lubitsch signs a sparkling and daring comedy of great modernity, one year before the application of the Hays Code, which will impose moral censorship on American cinema for several decades. Jubilant!
