As it has every year since 2019, the Château du Clos de Vougeot will be celebrating the legendary recipe for "œuf en meurette" on Sunday 13 October 2024!
To mark the occasion, in addition to the World Meurette Egg Championship, which will see national and international chefs compete in this 6th edition, the day will be punctuated by the Amateurs competition, a conference and demonstrations, honouring this symbol of Burgundy that has been acclaimed by thousands of chefs and connoisseurs around the world!
This year, it's the three-star chef, Georges Blanc, who will preside over the world championship, surrounded by the members of the jury. Together, they will choose the chef who will succeed the 2023 world champion, chef Fabien Pairon from the : Auberge communale du Mont-sur-Lausanne in Mont-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland.

> 09.30am - 11.50am: Amateur "œuf en meurette" competition
?... > 11.00-11.45am: Conference on "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" with the president of the championship, Chef Georges BLANC (Chef MOF 3*), Mireille SANCHEZ (author) and Cyril ROUQUET-PREVOST (Chef and author).
> 12.30pm: Presentation of the Amateur Competition prize
> 10.30am - 3.30pm: Tasting of the Clos de Vougeot's legendary "oeufs en meurette
? > 12.30 pm - 5.30 pm: World Meurette® Egg Championship
> 14H30-15H30: Demonstration of the recipe for œufs en meurette by MOF chef
