Brigadoon

Vincente Minnelli's adaptation of the Broadway hit of the same name, this 1954 musical takes us to a mysterious village that only appears one day every hundred years. In a misty forest in the Scottish Highlands, Tommy and Jeff, two American hunters, get lost. Before them, as if by magic, appears a village called Brigadoon. As they enter, they are captivated by the charm of the inhabitants, dressed in 18th century kilts and pleated dresses, dancing in the market square. Just as Tommy, a gentle dreamer, falls under the spell of Fiona, a beautiful village girl, Brigadoon's secret is revealed to them.
