"Slask" is a colourful, enchanting "Slask", a delightful show, an unforgettable concert, a unique event... This is how the press greeted the first performance of the "Slask" ensemble. These words are used all over the world where the ensemble performs.
Slask popularises Polish folklore, presenting songs and dances from all regions of Poland, especially from the south. What is most striking is the spectacular character, the élan of the dancers and the choreography itself, the physical performance and precision of the execution, the excellent and subtle choir, the picturesque costumes, the richness of the colours, the fabrics, the colour combinations... and the diversity of the melodies.
The artistic training of these artists is of a very high standard, each of them is subject to a drastic selection from all regions of Poland. The aim is to present the best of Poland and to restore the beauty of its art and traditions.
This is why Slask is so successful wherever it performs, offering the audience pleasure, joy and artistic emotion. All the ingredients for a wonderful show.
