The Ateliers Vocaux de Musique/Pluriel bring together some forty choristers, amateurs of all kinds of music. Under the guidance of two professional choirmasters, Marie Fraschina and Catherine Faure, the performances are directed by Claire Monot, a professional stage director.
AN OPEN REPERTOIRE
The a capella polyphonies are chosen by the conductors from a varied repertoire adapted to the demands of the group: ancient, secular or sacred music, contemporary, improvised, traditional French songs and songs of the world...
SINGULAR CONCERTS
The diversity of the formations, trio, quartet, women's choir, men's choir, mixed choir, large tutti, and the performance without a score allow great mobility and a strong stage presence.
The singers perform in concerts in conventional stage spaces. The Vocal Workshops combine musical quality and the creation of original stage situations, in order to share the pleasure and emotions of vocal music with the most diverse audiences. Each concert is the subject of a specific staging adapted to the venue, using the space to the maximum, including in and/or around the audience. The stage sets and the carefully designed lighting add visual pleasure to that of the ear. The commitment of the singers and the quality of their performances are recognised.
ORIGINAL EVENTS
Les Ateliers Vocaux has a solid experience in creating improbable musical events. They regularly create singular and original events, bringing singing everywhere and to all audiences: strolling concerts in the most diverse places, impromptu singing in public places, delivery of songs or lullabies at home...
