Why sterilise your preserves?
Sterilisation is a preservation process that preserves vegetables from the kitchen garden by putting them in airtight jars and heating them to a temperature high enough to destroy micro-organisms and guarantee a long shelf life.
What you will learn:
Sterilisation techniques: methods and equipment needed for effective and safe sterilisation.
Preparing preserves: choosing vegetables, preparing them and putting them in jars.
Recipes and tips: how to sterilise tomatoes, green beans, homemade sauces and much more.
Maximum 6 people per workshop.
