This workshop, offered in partnership with the Natural History Society of Autun and the landscape gardener Lily Wanat, combines the tools and eye of the botanist and the landscape gardener to meet the plants of the basin of the Saint-Pierre fountain. During these sessions, you will be introduced to the observation, identification and understanding of this wetland biotope, within a forest and an archaeological site.
The graphic transcription (outline, material, shape, prints...) is envisaged as an expressive collection device to revisit the practice of herbarium, in a more sensorial and plastic way.
All the traces produced will be a testimony to the spirit of the place and the diversity that is present there. All the workshops take place at the Saint Pierre fountain, which gives the opportunity to observe the evolution of the biotope over the seasons.
In case of rain, the workshop will be held in the museum.
Speakers: Françoise Baudoin (Autun Natural History Society), Éloïse Vial (Bibracte) and Lily Wanat, landscape designer and illustrator.
