31st Run in Chatenoy - The Color Run

For over 30 years, Les Foulées du Parc has been organising a sporting and family event.
As such, it brings together more and more runners, from joggers to experienced competitors, from young children to grandparents.
The event brings together many local clubs and also regional athletes.

The day starts in the morning with the entertaining children's races from 3 years old. All participants receive a medal and a snack.
For the fastest runners, there is a prize-giving ceremony at the end of the morning.

In the afternoon, the teenagers will run 2.5 km in the park, followed by the 10 km Ace Race. The runners do not limit themselves to the paths of the park, but run through the streets of our town. During the ace race, the participants face the Rue Frérat hill three times to get back up from the Saône riverbank.

After the competitors, it's time for the Colour Race!
This is the novelty of 2023. A 4km race, without timing, but in a good mood and in colour. All along the course, a coloured powder is projected on the participants.

Finally, the day ends jovially with the family race, where everyone moves at their own pace in the alleys of the park of Châtenoy en Bresse during one lap. It was a perfect opportunity to see children, parents and grandparents together again. It is the parade of pushchairs and draisiennes!

On the podium, the afternoon's runners are thanked and rewarded.

The day ends in a convivial atmosphere with a vin d'honneur offered by "Les Foulées du Parc".

The association "Les amis des écoles" provides catering under the hall.

All profits from the day are donated to the Jacques Brel school cooperative.
