La Maison des Cariatides

A monument to the culinary arts

Welcome to this superb 17th Century building, located in the very heart of the antiques quarter of Dijon. Opened in 2011, La Maison des Cariatides has since become a veritable reference point for gastronomes that are in the know. Chef Thomas Colomb creates a modern and thoughtful cuisine here, using only fresh ingredients.

Unique, just like its menus

Trained by René Villard at the Château de Bourgogne, Chef Thomas Collomb takes to the kitchens in order to create exceptional dishes that showcase local products. Here, he serves a pure gastronomy that is resolutely up to date, in a setting that harks back to the past. At La Maison des Cariatides, there isn’t a menu, there are two (one for lunch and one for dinner) that take your palate on a journey to discover astounding dishes and flavours.

The « Tasting » menu is served in the evening, and you can sample:

  • Tuna loin with quinoa and peppers ;

  • Loin of farm reared pork, aubergine pulp, confit of girolle mushrooms and tomatoes ;

  • Chocolat Manjari, sablé biscuit flavoured with fleur de sel and Madagascan vanilla.

Historic, just like the building.

The facade of this beautiful listed building is adorned with columns decorated with caryatides and atlantes. The decoration is based on contrasts between the charm of yesteryear (old stone, exposed wooden beams) and the feel of a contemporary loft space (design chairs, big designer lampshades).

Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
