D’Jazz Nevers Festival

THE rendezvous for lovers of swing music.

10/11/2018 - 17/11/2018

The D’Jazz Nevers Festival is an unmissable event for all jazz-lovers! Every year, during November, audiences come from across France and abroad to savour the challenging and celebratory programme on offer. Great atmosphere guaranteed.

A prestigious gathering.

Initially, D’jazz Nevers was a small festival set up in 1987 for jazz-lovers. Over time, it has managed to carve out a niche for itself and become the major unmissable event that it is today: A real international event.
Over a seven to eight day period in November, twenty-five concerts are given by French and international musicians that are iconic or innovative. Every year it attracts audiences from all across France and from abroad, who come to enjoy jazz creation and partying.

A powerful brand and identity

The gathering enjoys the huge success it does today because of its programme. The programme seeks to be representative of contemporary creation, a laboratory for new musical experiences, and a testament to works that have made their mark on history. It also demonstrates a drive to open up and share with artists and audiences from other disciplines.
For example, in November 2011 D’jazz Nevers welcomed: Iconic musicians from the American and European scene (Marc Ribot, Eddie Palmieri, Django Bates…), concerts, tributes to Charlie Parker and to Jimi Hendrix, and encounters with dance, theatre and circus performances.
