La Vitrine is a former shop and three-storey house in the historic centre of Marcigny.
It has been completely restored and adapted to accommodate artists. It's there to present contemporary art and to bring the place back to life in a participative and experimental way, always with an eye to contemporary art.
In 2023, an illuminated showcase created by Eva Ducret awaits you. Next, the Vitrine will be transformed into an embroidery workshop to create a participatory work, guided by Kathrin Stalder (Swiss artist). This will be followed by a work created by 50 artists in conjunction with "Satellite", an exhibition at the Filature in Varennes sous Dun.
In August, there will be a solo photo exhibition, "Corpus", by the artist Serge Faudin.
In 2024, there will be a succession of exhibitions in the window of Marcigny's shops and also in the church in St Martin la Vallée.
