Francine Vaizand Céramique

Based in the pretty village of Vauban in the Brionnais since late 2024, my pottery studio is a place where I produce, sell and pass on my skills.

As I am keen to pass on certain ceramic techniques, I offer pottery throwing courses during the school holidays in the Dijon and Lyon areas.

For 2025-2026, I would also like to offer weekly classes (plate work, stamping, colombin, decorations, etc.) for adults, teenagers and children.

I create utilitarian pieces in glazed stoneware and fire them at high temperatures, mainly in a reducing gas kiln. I make my own glazes so that I can control their composition, guarantee that they are food-safe and offer the colour harmony that I love. I follow good practices in the workshop that respect the environment, trainees, users and myself.

I can study your specific requests for tableware or decorative art.

My ceramics (crockery, vases, decorative objects, etc.) can be found in my shop in Vauban, in the south of the Saône-et-Loire department.
