Heir to more than a hundred years of know-how, the Colas Faience Factory perpetuates the tradition of fine work using the technique known as "petite feu", which requires three successive firings allowing a wide range of colours to be worked. Roger Colas, father of the famous sailor Alain Colas, created many shapes whose elegance and richness of decoration are the delight of earthenware lovers. The workshop was taken over by his son Jean-François Colas and today Alexandre Colas perpetuates the Colas creations. The concern for detail, the fineness of the lines, the skill and mastery of the art define the quality of the work provided by the workshop and presented in the shop. The Faïencerie Colas has been able to adapt by also offering for sale objects of interior decoration in the air of time and which make the shop the ideal place to find an original gift.
