I was born in Tours in 1991 and grew up on the banks of the Loire, a majestic and uncertain river. This proximity to the elements marked my childhood. Today I am interested in the relationship between humans and nature and the evocative powers of landscapes. I collect samples as witnesses of an organisation that is beyond us. Like a walker, I try to restore the memory of a wandering. The earth appears to me as a primordial material, whose memory assists me in restoring what the eye has caressed and what the hand has seen.
In 2018, I started a research work on the notion of processual art. Each step is essential and allows me to learn, discover and announce new ideas for the future. What is important to me today is not so much the result of my research, but the way to achieve it. I experience the material as a path of thought, accepting to be guided by my instinct. Letting go is for me a channel to access emotional stimuli
I question my technical learning by activating the material through destruction. Decay is above all a plastic and experimental approach. The search for a different technique and aesthetic leads my work against the current of excellence of the crafts. The absence of matter, the non-matter, opens the view on the content and its history.
