Walk alongside it, canoe or kayak down it or try a 'futreau' (traditional Loire boat). Don't miss: La-Charité-sur-Loire (medieval town - a UNESCO World Heritage site on Santiago de Compostella pilgrim way, antiquarian book town) and Varzy (13th century church, 'cyclorail' -pedal-driven rail trolley - between Varzy and Clamecy.
