In the middle of the preserved countryside (partly protected in ZNIEFF for its fauna & flora riches), close to a large wild forest massif, at the crossroads of the vineyards of northern Beaujolais ("UNESCO Global Geopark") & the Côtes Mâconnaises, neighboring the gentle Arlois valley (the only one in Burgundy producing wines from both southern Burgundy and northern Beaujolais).
