The Romanesque church of Gourdon, which stands on top of a granite hill, is visible from far off. Built in the early 12th century, it boasts a richly carved décor, with nearly 100 capitals. Admire too the magnificently restored paintwork. The church which combines several architectural styles is one of the most remarkable Romanesque buildings in South Burgundy.
