At the Château d'Epiry, two stone lions guard the entrance gate, which is approached from a bridge. Four 12th-century round towers overlook the main building, which dates from the 15th century onwards. The few mullion windows contrast with the many richly-carved windows on the courtyard side. It was here that Roger de Rabutin, a satirical writer and the cousin of Madame de Sévigné, the 17th century's best-known diarist, was born in 1618.Pelouses et buis, bassin au centre, petite serre et deux pavillons.
