The 15 hectare estate includes the appellations Corton and Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru, Aloxe Corton village and Premier Cru, Gevrey Chambertin, Ladoix village and Premier Cru, Côte de Nuits Villages and Bourgogne.
Claude Chevalier manages the estate with his daughters: Julie for sales to France and export, Anaïs for administration, and Chloé for the vines and vinification.
The Chevalier daughters and their father consider themselves to be custodians of a family winegrowing tradition that has existed for five generations and over a century and a half of renowned excellence, Emile Dubois having established the estate in the early 1850s. After the Great War, his daughter Marcelle and her husband Emile Chevalier rebuild the estate that had been destroyed by phylloxera. Their son Georges Chevalier extended the estate and developed the wines, deciding in 1959 to bottle the wines on the property .
