International accommodation centres (CIS) combine accommodation and sustainability with the chance to meet people from other countries. In Dijon and Autun Ethic Etapes rooms are available, from 20 €. If you decide to come at the last minute try budget hotels, such as Etap Hôtel, B&B, Formule 1, or campsites.

Outdoor activities

Cyclists can choose routes based on experience and personal taste: the Grande traversée du Morvan en VTT (mountain bikes) or rather easier routes such as the Tour de Bourgogne à Vélo® and the Voie Verte. Roller skating, tree-topping, kayaking are other eco-friendly activities on offer.

A mix of music and history

Depending on the time of year, you can combine museums, visits to historical sights and music festivals. The Nuits Péplum in Alesia, Aux Zarbs festival in Auxerre, Street Art festivals in Chalon and Nevers are definitely worth the trip! Not forgetting amplified music venues in Auxerre, Dijon or Nevers and La Péniche at Chalon-sur-Saône! The “Bourgogne Liberté” local rail travel card (for people under 26 years old) is a good way to travel from one stopover to the next.
