Start with a return to roots

At Joigny join the Burgundy section of the Santiago de Compostella pilgrim way and follow in the footsteps of ancient pilgrims... After your walk why not indulge yourself at the 800 sq. m. of spa facilities at Jean-Michel Lorain's 3 star hotel? At Fontenay you can discover one of the oldest Cistercian monasteries in Europe. Founded in 1118, the abbey boasts superb Romanesque architecture. This UNESCO World heritage site is a place of spiritual renewal.
