Begin your trip with the world’s leading white wine! Sample some in a Chablis cellar in this area with ‘Site Remarquable du Goût’ status. Then head for the medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois where you will spend the night, close to its collegiate church, towers and ramparts.
Dijon to Beaune – art to wine cellars
Day 2: art lovers can feast their eyes in Dijon! Visit the Palace of the Dukes and States of Burgundy, within whose walls are housed the wonderful paintings and sculptures of the Fine Art museum.
