This huge fair features regional produce from all over France as well as wine and food from a number of European countries including Belgium, Greece, Germany. early October in Dijon, Talant and the ‘Route des Grands Crus’
These four days in October have now become a firm date for Sacred Music festival-goers. This year the usual superb performances will be imbued with a new element – a fusion of music and wisdom, of universal values allied to artistic eclecticism (music, graphic and visual arts, cinema, creation …). An artistic bias towards ever more openness and humanity..

The 2007 event was a roaring success with over 75,000 spectators at the weekend. If the Superbike is gaining popularity year on year it must have something to do with the warmth and friendliness evident at this World Championship !

October in Noyers-sur-Serein
The day starts with experts checking the truffles for quality before a cowbell is rung to signal that the sale of these “black diamonds” can begin in the medieval town.
At the same time as the Truffle Market takes place, local growers and producers, craftsmen and artists come along to sell their wares. Some twenty stallholders will be there selling pottery, china, dried flowers – there will be something for everyone, especially for those who love fine food and wine as there will be stalls selling wine, Champagne, foie gras, etc. on the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville and the Place du Marché au Blé.

The Lac des Settons is a man-made lake, created in 1854-1858 for the timber industry, which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year. Celebrations will involve a number of events including draining the lake. The lake will be totally drained of all water at the end of the tourist season and will be empty in October 2008. The draining celebration will also be a fish festival as part of the catch will be sold to local people and there will also be an aquarium exhibition, demonstrations, etc.
