Chalon Carnival

23rd February to 2nd March in Chalon-sur-Saône
Music, pictures, colour, laughter, fantasy and pure fun with the ‘Gôniots’ (people dressed up as all sorts of characters). The Carnival at Chalon is one of only a few in France to offer such a wide range of music groups, varied in terms of style and origin, putting it in second place after the Nice Carnival. There’s a night time parade, sparkling cavalcades with colourful floats, great big funny heads, music from all over the world … Marvellous fun for children OF ALL AGES !
