FLAVIGNY-SUR-OZERAIN

Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, one of the "most beautiful villages in France", has retained many traces of its past as a walled city. Between the abbey, with its Carolingian crypts, and the Saint-Genest Gothic church, wander through its streets lined with medieval houses. And if you detect the scent of anise, it's because the famous little white candies have been made here since the 17th century.
