Clamecy is the ancient capital of wood floating. This flowery city on the banks of the Canal du Nivernais, at the confluence of the Yonne and the Beuvron, delights boaters. History buffs will appreciate the traces of the medieval city and half-timbered houses. Don't forget to visit the collegiate church of Saint-Martin, in Burgundian Gothic style, and the museum with varied collections.
