In the heart of Dijon the latest of Bernard Loiseau restaurants has opened its doors. Located in a former 16th century mansion house, this Michelin star establishment serves fine gourmet cuisine. In the kitchens, Chef Louis-Philippe Vigilant keeps alive and reinvents the heritage of the masters.

A Chef takes flight


A former sous-chef at the famous Relais Bernard Loiseau, young chef Louis-Philippe Vigilant has retained the ability to provide big flavours and perfect seasoning. Rooted in Burgundian traditions, the kitchens at the restaurant Loiseau des Ducs also know how to surprise the palate, with touches that are creative and daring.

You can try, for example:

  • Frogs legs in garlic puree with parsley jus, in the style of Bernard Loiseau ;

  • Supreme of Maine-Anjou squab pigeon roasted skin-on, fleurette and sphere of petits pois with country lardons and flavours of lavender;

  • Sphere of Illanka grand cru chocolate, with a variety of textures.


A monument to refinement.


Lovers of old stone buildings will be won over by the authenticity of the venue, dating from the Renaissance and classed as a historic monument. The room is decorated with gothic vaults and offers an intimate and elegant ambiance in which to enjoy an exquisite moment of culinary pleasure. During the season, take advantage of a terrace that offers an exceptional view of the palace of the Dukes of Burgundy.
