Gourmet delicacies in Saône-et-Loire

In Chagny, a town of water and greenery, Maison Lameloise has been a real ode to Burgundy cuisine for close to a century. Éric Pras and Frédéric Lamy are carrying on this tradition with recipes that are tasty and carefully put together. Since 2007, the establishment has been awarded three stars in the Michelin Guide.

Cuisine of heritage and tradition



Éric Pras and Frédéric Lamy worked with the greatest chefs, from the Troisgros brothers to Paul Bocuse, without forgetting Bernard Loiseau. Today, they are carrying on the wonderful heritage of a family establishment which nearly a century old.

Burgundy tradition is transfered onto your plate for an exceptional meal, from starter to dessert. Among the gourmet items on the menu are:

  • foie gras marvré, venison and pear with red wine. ;


  • The slow-cooked Bresse chicken supreme with spinach and trumpet mushrooms under the skin, stuffed leg with crayfish and truffles, poultry juice with nut oil. ;


  • candied apple compression, crêpe dentelle and frozen chiboust with cider and caramel and ginger ice cream.



Art de vivre in Val de Saône



Halfway between Beaune and Chalon (16 km), Maison Lameloise welcomes you to Chagny, in the heart of the fine wine region of Burgundy. This old 15th century coaching inn has been cultivating art de vivre and heritage since 1921, and three generations of Lameloise chefs: Pierre, Jean and Jacques.

The five rooms provide a warm décor with exposed stonework and wood beams. The Relais & Châteaux restaurant invites you to enjoy gourmet food, close to the Voie Verte, the Canal du centre and the forest.
