À Pas Contés Festival in Dijon

Children are given pride of place!

02/02/2018 - 16/02/2018

Every year in February the ‘À pas contés’ festival features two weeks of shows and events for children and the family. On the programme: music, acts, readings, creative workshops…but most of all, lots of surprises! After all, childhood is a universe of possibilities, isn't it?

This is THE event that little and big people simply cannot miss.

Over a two week period in February, the ‘À pas contés’ festival invites children (from 10 months of age to 8 years and over) and their parents to explore the thirty or so shows. There’s theatre, music, circus acts, dance and poetry, as well as workshops where participants can play and have fun while learning. For example: Physical and musical early learning activities, writing workshops, language immersion sessions and so on

The programme is delivered by both Burgundy-based companies and by top artists hailing from the four corners of the globe.

The paradise of the majestic

During the festival, children are treated not as ‘miniature adults’ but as sensitive beings with exuberant imaginations and the wildest dreams. So every year the organisers do their utmost to ensure that children enjoy wonderful surprises and highly charged moments. A kind of interlude that’s both warm and festive, right in the heart of winter.

A winning formula! The event was created over ten years ago and has won a large and loyal audience for itself, welcoming every generation.
